Notifications are essential for staying on top of your campaign’s progress, especially when using manual or semi-automated bidding strategies. They keep you informed about new qualified jobs, campaign status, and any issues that may require your attention.

How Campaigns and Notifications Work Together

  • If your campaign’s bidding delay is set to “until I approve”, Lancer will qualify jobs but pause sending proposals until you manually approve each one.

  • You can approve or reject jobs in two main places:

    • The Leads Overview page on Lancer’s dashboard (detailed separately).

    • On the go, via push notifications through Discord or Slack (if integrated).

Managing Notifications on the Go

  • When a new qualified job appears, you get a push notification on your phone or desktop through the selected app (e.g., Discord).

  • You see the job title, qualification reasoning, and client info.

  • Actions you can take right away:

    • Proceed: Approve and let Lancer send the proposal automatically.

    • Don’t apply: Reject the job and provide a reason (e.g., competitor agency, unsuitable job). This helps Lancer learn and avoid similar jobs.

Bidding Delay and Automatic Proposal Sending

  • If your bidding delay is set to a fixed time (e.g., 10 or 15 minutes), Lancer will:

    • Notify you of a qualified job.

    • Wait for your action during the delay period.

    • Auto-apply if you don’t reject within that time.

  • Your role during this delay is to reject incorrect or poor-fit jobs promptly to save connects.

Other Important Notifications

  • Running out of connects: Alerts when your monthly connects are nearly depleted.

  • Bidding failures: Alerts if a proposal could not be sent, allowing you to intervene manually.

  • Various campaign performance and issue notifications to keep you informed.
