Step 1: Analyze Job Suitability
Load jobs in Test Mode and see which ones Lancer qualifies or filters out based on your Knowledge Base.
Example: Jobs requiring expertise you marked as “projects to avoid” (e.g., SEO audit when you don’t offer SEO) will be filtered out correctly.
Modify your Knowledge Base (e.g., add or remove services) and rerun tests to adjust qualification accuracy.
Step 2: Review Proposal Generation
For each qualified job, Test Mode shows the automatically generated cover letter based on your selected campaign template.
You can edit your cover letter template anytime and instantly see updated proposals in Test Mode.
Step 3: Test Question Handling
View automatic answers to client questions related to the job.
Add or modify specific question-answer templates to customize responses for common queries within your niche.
Recommended Workflow
On a wide screen, place the Knowledge Base panel on one side and the campaign feed on the other for easier comparison.
Review around 20–30 sample jobs thoroughly: both suitable and unsuitable.
Adjust your Knowledge Base profiles, “projects to avoid,” ICP, core services, and templates based on these reviews.
Iterate continuously until you’re confident the AI is filtering and responding properly.
Example Adjustments
If a formerly unsuitable job becomes suitable because you’ve added a new service (e.g., Amazon PPC), rerun the test to confirm it passes.
Refine proposal openings by personalizing greetings and calls to action — for instance, changing “Free for a quick chat this week?” to a more urgent phrase like “Are you available for a quick call right now?”
Modify question handling templates as needed to ensure quality and relevance in client communication.
When You’re Ready
Once satisfied with suitability and proposal quality in Test Mode, start your live campaign with confidence.
