Disconnecting an account deletes the data tied to it — its synced profile data and the history attached to that account — and you'd have to connect it again from scratch and wait for a fresh sync.
So don't disconnect an account to fix a problem. If something's off — a login dropped, data looks stale, a bid failed — reconnect/update the account instead (see "Reconnecting your account") or message us. Disconnecting usually makes it worse.
When it's fine to disconnect
Disconnecting makes sense when you genuinely want to stop using an Upwork account with Lancer for good, or you're freeing up a seat to connect a different account. In that case, go to Connected Accounts and remove it there.
