How to cancel, pause, or downgrade your Lancer subscription

Manage your subscription in Settings → Billing — cancel (at period end), change plans, or pause. Nothing is deleted.

Short answer

You manage your subscription in Settings → Billing. From there you can change your plan or cancel in a couple of clicks. Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then, and nothing is deleted.


How to cancel

  1. Open Settings → Billing.

  2. Click Cancel (under your plan).

  3. Pick the reason that fits best — it genuinely helps us improve — and confirm.

You'll then see your subscription marked as "scheduled to end", with the exact end date.

What happens after you cancel

  • You keep full access until the end of your current billing period. Your campaigns keep running until then.

  • No further charges after this period.

  • Nothing is deleted — your campaigns, knowledge base and settings are all kept.

  • You can undo it anytime before the end date — just reopen Settings → Billing and resume.


How to pause instead

Temporarily overbooked and want to stop spending connects without losing your setup? You have two options:

  • Pause your campaigns yourself — go to Campaigns and toggle them off. Bidding (and connect spend) stops immediately, while your plan and data stay intact. This is the fastest way to press pause.

  • Pause your billing — message us in the chat and we'll pause your subscription for you. Your campaigns, knowledge base and data are all retained while paused.


How to change or downgrade your plan

  1. Open Settings → Billing and click Change plan.

  2. Choose your plan — Pay-Per-Lead or Unlimited — and your billing cycle (monthly or quarterly).

  3. You'll see exactly what changes, and any charge, before you confirm.

Upgrades take effect immediately, with a prorated charge for the rest of your current cycle. Downgrades are scheduled for your next renewal — no charge today, and you keep your current plan and quota until then.


How to come back after cancelling

  • Before your end date: reopen Settings → Billing and resume — nothing was lost.

  • After it has ended: sign in and pick a plan again. Your old campaigns and data are still there; switch them back on once your subscription is active.


Refunds

Cancelling doesn't automatically issue a refund. If you have a specific situation — billed for a period you didn't use, charged at the wrong price, or a double charge — message us in the chat with the email on your account and we'll review it.


Updating your payment method or invoices

For your card, billing details and past invoices, open Settings → Billing → Manage in Stripe.
