Lancer has two plans, and every feature is available on both — the difference is the pricing model and the level of setup support, not the capabilities.
Pay-Per-Lead — $149/mo (or $99/mo billed quarterly). 5 replies per month included; extra replies are $19 each. Connect 1 Upwork account.
Unlimited — $499/mo (or $333/mo billed quarterly). Unlimited replies, no overages, connect multiple Upwork accounts, plus done-for-you setup and a strategy consultation.
What counts as a "reply"?
A reply is a client responding to a proposal Lancer sent for you — a real conversation started, i.e. a warm lead. That's what the Pay-Per-Lead plan counts.
What does not count against your quota: proposals you send, cover letters you generate, and AI job-filtering tests — those are all unlimited. Invitations or direct messages a client sends you outside of a Lancer proposal aren't counted either.
Pay-Per-Lead in detail
Price: $149/month, or $99/month billed quarterly ($299 every 3 months).
Included replies: 5 per month (15 per quarter on the quarterly plan).
Overage: $19 per extra reply once you pass the quota. On the quarterly plan, overages only start after 15 replies in the quarter — not 5 per month — so a busy month can be balanced by a quieter one.
Accounts: 1 connected Upwork account.
Everything else is unlimited: proposals sent, AI cover letters generated, and AI job-filtering tests.
Best for operators who already know Upwork and want to pay mostly for results.

The quarterly discount
Paying quarterly is cheaper per month: Pay-Per-Lead drops from $149 to about $99/mo, and Unlimited from $499 to $333/mo. You're billed once every 3 months.
VAT and taxes
Depending on your country, VAT or local sales tax may be added at checkout on top of the plan price. You'll always see the exact total before you pay, and it appears on your Stripe invoice.
Switching plans
You can move between plans anytime in Settings → Billing → Change plan. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated); downgrades are scheduled for your next renewal. Full steps: How to cancel, pause, or downgrade your subscription.
